How the Can U Dig It RC Mobile Experience Works
Published by Can U Dig It RC
Can U Dig It RC actually started as a mobile business, and the trailer is still a huge part of what we do.
It gives us a way to bring RC construction and rock crawling directly to fairs, festivals, schools, companies, churches, birthday parties, and community events instead of always asking people to come to us.
What Comes With the Mobile Setup
Our standard mobile setup is built around 10 RC machines and can handle up to 10 participants at the same time.
A typical setup includes:
- 2 excavators
- 2 loaders
- 6 rock crawlers
- Portable construction and crawling areas
- An attendant to help guests, manage equipment, and keep everything moving
The exact setup can vary a little depending on the event and what makes the most sense for the space.
Designed for Events
From the beginning, we wanted the mobile experience to be practical and repeatable.
We typically plan on about 30 minutes for setup and another 30 minutes for teardown, depending on the location and event conditions.
Once everything is ready, guests can step up, grab the controls, and start playing.
That simplicity is a big part of why the mobile model works so well.
Where It Works
The setup can fit a wide range of events, including:
- Fairs and festivals
- Company and employee events
- Birthday parties
- Schools
- Churches
- Community programs
- Private events
- Family days and special events
Some organizers book Can U Dig It RC and let their guests participate at no additional cost. At other public events, we can operate more like an attraction and charge participants per session.
The setup can be adapted to the event.
More Than Just a Trailer
The trailer does more than bring the machines somewhere.
It lets us introduce Can U Dig It RC to people who may never have found our Erlanger location otherwise.
Someone might first see us at a fair, company event, or school function, then come visit the store later.
That connection between the mobile side and the storefront has been part of the business from the beginning.
